When I discovered sound healing, it became a powerful tool in my own self-care toolbox. That’s why I created Elevate by Mia—because everyone should have access to healthy, empowering tools to lean on during life’s harder moments."

Originally from Champlin, MN, Mia grew up in a close to family, was a competitive athlete, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN. Immediately following college graduation, she was accepted into an exclusive sales program at 3M Corporation—an opportunity offered to just 25 college graduates nationwide. During that process she felt like something was missing in her brief corporate experience, hindsight it lacked the fulfillment of helping others and making a meaningful impact. After meeting her husband, Shane, she moved to Minot and became the Marketing Director at MADC and in 2017 she became a stay-at-home mom. These big life changes led Farstad to explore holistic tools to support her own wellness as she adjusted to motherhood & trying to figure out her next step professionally.

In 2023, she opened Elevate by Mia, offering sound healing services that can help with migraines, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, PTSD, TMJ, and so much more.

I help empower individuals through their birth chart by reminding them of the gifts they were born with, providing them with tools to support them emotionally, & offer a new perspective on current life challenges. I am also passionate about equipping parents with additional tools for their parenting toolkit through children's chart readings.
